Tigger
This is Tigger.
I think you can guess where Tigger got his name from. He's about 8 years old. I've had him since I was 13. Tigger is a medium haired manx with tabbyish markings. I did choose him because of his unique cute splotch on his nose. Tigger is the biggest and the fattest loveable cat I've ever met. He's the guy that waits for me every night to make sure I get to bed on time at night when I'm up late doing projects. Even though he's a lazy cat he does have alot of character. He's very photogenic, in fact, whenever I take out my camera he seems to pose. It's not hard to get a good shot of him. Even though Tigger lives with two noisy obnoxious Shih-Tzu's, he's still king of his castle. He greats everyone that comes over to our house with sweet licks to the arms, hands, face, well...pretty much any exposed skin area.
Kissa
This is Kissa.
Kissa is the Finnish word for "cat". Even though in most pictures she looks like a black cat, but she's actually not. In the summer she shed's her coat and she's actually a really dark brown with tabby stripes on her tail and spots on her body. Vet's have told us many times that she's very unique and have never come across a cat with such interesting markings. She's about 3 years old now, but really small for her age. When we originally rescued her she was about 4 weeks because of that her growth is stunted. Kissa is defiantly a special kitty, but that's why I love her even more. She is my baby, but she's does get grumpy alot. Kissa is loveable with daddy when he's playing World of Warcraft. She'll sit in front of the laptop and watch raids. This baby lives by herself with daddy where she has rule of the roost.
Sylvie
This is Sylvie.
Her full name is Sylvanas. She is 8 weeks old and one of the new babies of the family. Sylvie is still growing into her personality, but it is very clear that she is very adventurous, outgoing and is always the first for everything and the last to go to sleep of her brothers and sisters. She has a strong personality so far, and that's why we named her after the banshee queen.
Luther
This is Luther.
No, not Martin Luther King Jr. He is actually named after a monk that is the founder (Martin Luther) of the Lutheran division of Christianity. It was almost fitting because both of us are Lutherans and my boyfriend lives beside our church. Luther is 8 weeks old and is the brother of Sylvie. They are both from the same litter. He's a shy boy but is still slowly growing into his personality. My boyfriend and I really hope he turns out to be the lap cat we've always wanted.
Evie
This is Evie.
Evie is a female crested gecko. She's about 1 year now, for those that don't know much about crested geckos they live about 13 years. So they are a life-time pet like a cat or a dog. She's my first lizard and I'm so glad I got her. Evie is a sweet girl and very easy to handle. Half the time she doesn't even want to go back in her cage. Evie is like the little dragon i've always wanted as a little girl, minus the wings and fire breathing...well maybe little fire breathing. I highly recommend a crested gecko for anyone thats planning on getting their first lizard! Eventually Evie will have a cage-mate, hopefully a boyfriend!
Nikita
This is Nikita.
Nikita was named after the Elton John song "Nikita". She is a 6 year old black and white Shih-tzu. Nikita a tiny dog with alot of spunk she's the boss of the house and rules with an iron paw. Her and Harley are two peas in a pod. Everywhere Nikita goes Harley has to come two. Even though she can be a sweet girl she does have an attitude problem. She does her own thing and you don't dare bug her. This girl was the only runt in a litter of all boys, so they may explain alot.
Harley
This is Harley.
Harley is the lazy boy dog and the baby of the family. He was originally named after the motorcycle brand Harley Davidson. He's no rough and tough Harley though. Harley is a 3 year grey, blonde and white Shih-tzu. He's a wimpy baby, but tries to act like a tough dog. He usually gets upset when anyone tries to take is "Mr.Green" (a green beanie baby chameleon from Mc.Donalds). Ya...don't ask.
